Turner Homes was founded in 1971 when founder M.P. Turner and his brother, a trim carpenter, began building homes in Knoxville. Working alongside skilled craftsmen, the Turners established a mission that continues to this day – providing homes for families in East Tennessee.

Since assuming leadership in 1996, Mike Turner has built on the foundation his father established, expanding the company’s network of trusted subcontractors and suppliers while adding valued members to the team. Through the years, he has remained committed to building quality homes – on time and on budget.

What began as a small family business has grown into one of East Tennessee’s largest and most experienced home builders. With divisions in both Knoxville and Chattanooga, the company now employs more than 100 team members and builds hundreds of homes each year.

Turner Homes is and always has been about its people – the people who plan, design, estimate, build, inspect, sell, and warranty our homes. We take pride in how each role supports the mission of providing homes to the families who will create lifelong memories within their walls.
